The Indiana and Miami (Fla.) men’s and women’s basketball programs will debut alternate uniforms this week as part of a collaboration between adidas and Fear of God, an influential American luxury fashion label founded by Jerry Lorenzo.
The all-black uniforms feature an “Indiana” or “Miami” wordmark in the Hoosiers’ crimson or Hurricanes’ orange color scheme below the same color numbers, both of which are in rendered in Fear of God’s athletic typeface.
There are three tonal stripes below the collar that act as the adidas manufacturer’s mark, as well as each team’s nickname on the left hip of the shorts, though both are difficult to see from any distance.
The uniforms are complete with a white B1G or ACC patch on the left shoulder and adidas Fear of God One Model shoes, which feature a black base and either a crimson or green toecap and white outsole.
The Indiana men’s team will wear the uniforms during Sunday’s game against Northwestern (3 p.m. ET on FS1), while the women will debut the look in Thursday’s game against Iowa (8 p.m. ET on Peacock).
The Miami men’s team will don the uniforms during Wednesday’s game against Duke (7 p.m. ET on ESPN), while the women will wear the design against Pittsburgh on Feb. 29 (6 p.m. ET on ACC Network Extra).
In addition to the uniforms, both schools will wear warmups designed by Lorenzo. The first 100 students at each game will also be given an exclusive Fear of God t-shirt to commemorate the occasion.
