NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Wednesday, April 3 include Scoot Henderson

Suns shooting guard Devin Booker is coming off the biggest performance of the week in the NBA, pouring in 52 points in a win at New Orleans on Monday night. Booker had finished with fewer than 20 points in each of his previous two games before carrying NBA DFS lineups across the country with his explosion against the Pelicans. He will be trying to maintain that momentum when he faces Donovan Mitchell and Cleveland on Wednesday night. However, the Cavaliers have the league’s seventh-best scoring defense, so should you avoid Booker in your NBA DFS contests?

Meanwhile, star-studded teams like the Celtics, Bucks and Timberwolves are also in action on Wednesday. Which players should you be targeting from the loaded NBA DFS player pool that includes Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Edwards on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel? Before making your NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks, and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with more than $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure highlighted Lakers forward LeBron James as one of his top picks in his NBA DFS player pool on both sites. The result: James had 23 points, nine assists and four rebounds, returning 41.5 points on DraftKings and 40.3 points on FanDuel. Anybody who included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, April 3

For Wednesday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is rostering Wizards forward Tristan Vukcevic, who is listed at $3,000 on DraftKings and $3,500 on FanDuel. The 21-year-old rookie made his NBA debut on March 23, grabbing one rebound in three minutes of action. He played less than 10 minutes in his following three games, but his minutes have increased drastically over the last two games.

Vukcevic had three points, two rebounds and two assists in 13 minutes against Miami on Sunday before playing 31 minutes against Milwaukee on Tuesday. He took full advantage of the opportunity, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal against the Bucks. Vukcevic could draw the first start of his career on Wednesday with Marvin Bagley III (knee) out and Richaun Holmes (toe) questionable to play.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson ($6,800 on DraftKings and $6,700 on FanDuel). Henderson signed with the G-League Ignite after graduating early from high school, becoming the youngest player (17) in G-League history. He was drafted third overall by the Trail Blazers in last year’s draft, and he has flashed his potential throughout his rookie campaign.

Henderson has scored in double digits in 10 straight games and 18 of his last 19 appearances overall, earning additional playing time. He had 20 points, six rebounds and six assists against Miami last Friday before tallying 13 points, nine assists and eight rebounds at Orlando on Monday. Henderson provides versatility in NBA DFS lineups, and his recent consistency makes him one of McClure’s favorite picks for Wednesday night. See McClure’s other NBA DFS picks right here.
